I have been so busy lately.

I think it's funny how everything blends together when I do so much, and the only way I can go back and definitively work out the string of events is to look through all of the photos that I've taken in that time.

Oh by the way, I'm not dead. :D

Haha, I totally forgot to update this when I got home. I'll provide a more in-depth update later.

So let's see. Last time I updated was the 15th. I guess I'll talk about what's been going on since then.

Well, that's not completely true. I did go to Tokyo Disney Sea on the 5th with Jesie, Viet and Perkins. But it was a bit rainy, especially in the afternoon, so most of my photos are kind of...meh. We had fun, though, and afterwards I met up with Derek in Shinjuku for dinner, ice cream and a trip to an arcade (go here if you have no idea who Derek is; 3rd paragraph in). I had him beat in DDR, but I was no match for him in Tetris. :P

Haven't been up to much else besides that one trip. Just school, which has been pretty slow and far from interesting. It's kind of hard to keep myself motivated but I'm trying to just stick it out for these last few weeks. I'll be home in 20 days! Wow, that sounds really soon now that I've said it in a day measurement instead of in weeks.

Oh, I did go to see Mike this weekend. I wanted to get a photo of us together so Mike asked a random guy at the train station to use my camera to take a photo before I left, but the lighting sucked since we were next to a big window, so the photo is kind of bad (even after I've tried fixing it up in photoshop). Oh well. I'll try and get a better one the next time I see him. As far as I know he should be able to join Jesie, Viet and I for Transformers 2 this coming Saturday.

That's about all for now. I'm sure I'll update again before I head back to the states.

As of yesterday, I've begun a photo-a-day project on Flickr.
No particular theme at all; I'm just going to try and take photos each day, and then I'll pick one to post every night. :)

Mike and I are going to be dating for the next 5 weeks (meaning, until I leave). :)

Hm, so what else. Well, I fly home in 7 weeks. I am beyond excited. I just talked to PJ, Eddie and Mariquita on the phone today, and I can't WAIT to go back to the theatre. This summer is going to be awesome.

So, this past Friday, Jesie and I went to Tokyo. We went to Asakusa first (read the wiki about it here) and then walked to Ueno station and took the train to Shibuya (wiki). After we were in Shibuya for a little while we headed to Shinjuku (wiki) to meet a friend of mine, Derek. He's 26 and he studied in Tsukuba about 5 years ago, I think, via the same program with Purdue that Jesie is here through. He's teaching English in Tokyo now. He brought us to a bookstore in Shinjuku, and to this awesome restaurant that had a bunch of different foods and drinks, including 'Russian roulette' gyoza (you get 4 dumplings, one of which has jalapenos in it).

Anyway. So that was really fun. He'll probably come up here to Tsukuba to hang out with us again before we leave.

Other than that, I haven't really been up to much. Yesterday, though, I went out to lunch with Jesie and Andrew and then for dinner we went to a sushi restaurant with about 6 other people, and afterwards we went to an arcade and then we all hung out at McDonald's till about 1am. It was pretty awesome, and our friend Masayasu met up with us at the arcade, so he got to hang out with us there and at McDonald's, too.

SUNY Albany just accepted me as a transfer student. :D

AS A TRANSFER STUDENT.

Which means I can go there and change my major to Japanese studies and maybe minor in business. And I can live with Alex. And commute home on the weekends with one of my parents. And work at the theatre (and possibly the candyman, too) on the weekends.
